Vintage World Record Track Spikes

Don Gehrmann's
G.T. Law & Son
Track Spikes

These hand-made track shoes made by cobbler G.T. Law in Wimbledon, England, were worn by Don Gehrmann representing the United States in the 1500m run in the 1948 Olympics held in London, England.

They were also worn at the British Games held at White City Stadium, London, England in 1952 when Gehrmann established a new World Record for the 1000m run.

These exceedingly rare, museum quality items come with a letter signed by Don when they were presented to a friend.
